About Me

I am a Portland native who is passionate about serving the community through birth work and newborn support. I am an LGBTQ+ and BIPOC ally and strive to provide inclusive care to all patients.

I received my BA of Public Policy with a minor in Civic Engagement from Portland State University. I started my career at the state capital on local political campaigns but after my own birth experiences, I saw a need for immediate hands-on advocacy in birthwork.

After receiving my doula certification at Birthingway College of Midwifery, I became a Traditional Healthcare Worker Doula for the state of Oregon. My passion is to use my policy background along with my Doula work to drive public policies that support doulas and advocate for the underserved parents in our community.

I am my happiest when I’m outside with my kids, enjoying all the beautiful adventures Oregon has to offer. When I’m not serving on the board of the Portland Doula Association, volunteering doula services, or leading postpartum support groups, I’m beachcombing at the coast, picking fruit in the Gorge or catching a show at Aladdin theater.
